Susan Purvis, WHNP, APRN is an Obstetrics and Gynecology nurse in Brandon, Florida with 20+ years' of experience in women’s healthcare. Susan Purvis, WHNP, APRN is NCC certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of North Florida. Susan is trained in IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon, endometrial biopsy (EMB), vulvar biopsy, and ASCCP trained in colposcopy. As a labor and delivery nurse, the transition to women's health to continue her care for women seemed like a natural progression. As patients of Women's Care, Susan and her daughter have always appreciated the professional and compassionate environment provided by the practice. She wants to offer the same to patients and their families. Susan prioritizes being a good listener, being easy to talk to, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle for patients. In her spare time outside of her healthcare practice, Susan enjoys spending time with her dog, bike riding, running, snorkeling, and watching Florida Gators football.
